Talladega College President, Dr. Gregory J. Vincent, announced on Wednesday that he would resign following news that some faculty did not receive paychecks. It is still unclear as to what caused the delay that prompted a lack of confidence in the institution. The school announced it will search for a new president. Dr. Vincent stated that he intends to return to the private practice of law. Vincent was appointed President effective June 2022.
