On February 10, 2025 attorney Adam Hanser was selected as the next President of Florida Atlantic University, subject to confirmation by the Florida State University System’s Board of Governors.
Hanser was a member of the Florida House of Representatives for 8 years (2002-2010) where he was the Majority Leader for two terms. Most recently he served as the Executive Vice President for Public Policy for the GEO Group, prior to that he was the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for People’s Trust Insurance, and the President of Synamic Value, Inc, a strategic consulting firm.
He earned his JD from Florida State University.
